MHW QLD 2022

Black Dog Ride's Mental Health Week Queensland Ride aims to give back to the community and show support through going into towns and investing through supporting local industries and business.

This will be subject to COVID19 Situation and current Health Directions at the time of the ride. Which are being monitored.

We have managed to form several partnerships with Rotary and Local mental health support networks who are helping organise local community engagement activities.

As it is a unusual year and restrictions have prevented all rides from doing the original planned ride The QLD ride team decided that it would be good to do a shorter version and touch base with rural Communities that have also been doing it tough through Drought, Flood and Covid19.

The ride will be a state ride with a 4- 6 day duration (bit longer for Cairns riders) which includes the trip out and the return trip to start destination (anything outside this will be rider's own responsibility).

We have start points in Sth Brisbane, Nth Brisbane, Mackay and Cairns and will pick up riders on the way.

This year the ride will coincide with Mental Health week in October.

All riders will meet in Emerald Central QLD for a get together function before heading Home.
