2016 Volunteer Of The Year

The NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards is an annual program launched in 2007 by The Centre for Volunteering to recognise the outstanding efforts of the 2 million+ volunteers in NSW, and to promote the importance of volunteering to the community.

In 2016, Black Dog Ride's own Todd Taylor, Volunteer Coordinator for the Port Macaquarie Region since 2013, was awarded The NSW Volunteer of the Year Award in the4 Category of Volunteer Management. Todd's amazing work in coordinating volunteers for Black Dog Ride's annual 1 Dayer suicide prevention activity, with local fundraising supporting Lifeline Mid Coast, is well deserved. Todd says he really appreciates the team effort required to organise local activities."

Congratulations Todd and thank you for your tireless work in supporting Black Dog Ride.
