2014 Australian of The Year State Finalist

It gave Black Dog Ride's Team great pride to learn that the Founder of Black Dog Ride, Steve Andrews, had been announced as a State Finalist in the 2014 Australian of the Year Awards! Steve was a finalist in the WA Local Hero category for his work as a mental health campaigner with Black Dog Ride.

Although Steve Andrews did not win, Black Dog Ride was thrilled to see at least three mental health campaigners nominated, ensuring the national conversation around mental wellbeing and suicide prevention is maintained. To view all Australian of the Year Nominess, click here.
