World Superbikes 2022

12th to 20th November

Kick the Tyres and light the Fires!

Black Dog Ride is heading to the World Superbikes, AGAIN!

Get your backside trackside to make some long-awaited noise for mental health, as you join Winston on Black Dog Ride's Tour to the Final Round of the 2022 FIM Superbike World Championship, at amazing Phillip Island! The Island will go OFF!

We are very happy to confirm that Black Dog Ride has been accepted again as the nominated Charity of Australia's round of the 2022 FIM Superbike World Championship.

On Saturday 12th November rides start from both Victoria and New South Wales through great countryside to the Phillip Island Circuit on 17th. As part of the official Black Dog Ride group, participants will be riding in an exclusive, money-can't-buy 'parade lap' of the track, and don't forget the Champion's Dinner at the track Friday night. These arrangements are exclusive to Black Dog Ride and only available to ride participants.

We will have an expo stand at the event, which gives us a great opportunity to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention over the weekend. At the last World Superbikes event we gave out over 5000 information sheets.

Ride with us on amazing routes, as we twist our way to the Island. We will have plenty of fun, and time to chat to community along the way, but most of all, enjoy the ride with mates, as you hone your cornering skills, regaling them to all at dinner, over a couple of well-earned refreshments.

When we get to the Island, try your hand at the Title of Black Dog Rides Fastest Go Kart driver! Can you take the title on the track that exactly replicates the GP Track?

Our ride registration includes all you need to attend the great race. All you need to do, is book your accommodation, fill the tank, and riiiide! Don't forget your smile and sense of fun.

Registrations close strictly at 10pm 30 October, so grab 2 or 4 mates and get in early to secure your spot on this numbers limited tour.

The Cause

1 in 5 Australians experience a mental health condition each year. 3 million Australians are living with depression or anxiety. 8 Australians take their lives each day. That's more than 3,000 lives lost to suicide each year. The tragic loss of our loved ones to suicide drives Black Dog Ride to build a community culture of awareness, inclusion and acceptance.

Breaking down the barrier of silence encourages our friends, family and colleagues to seek help, because mental illness is just that, an illness. Mental illness can be managed to lead a meaningful, fulfilling life. Fostering awareness is the catalyst for encouraging help seeking behaviour and preventing suicide.

Help Black Dog Ride break down barriers and start conversations, join us on our Superbikes weekend in November 2022 to kick start a national conversation around suicide prevention.
