World Superbikes 2020

24th February to 1st March

Black Dog Ride is heading to the World Superbikes, AGAIN!

Get your backside track-side to make some noise for mental health as you join Winston on Black Dog Ride's 3rd Tour to the Australian Yamaha Finance Round of the 2020 Superbike World Championship at Phillip Island!

We are very happy to confirm that Black Dog Ride has been accepted again as the nominated Charity of Australia's round of the 2020 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, Yamaha Finance round.

On Monday 24th February rides start from both Victora and New South Wales through great countryside to the Phillip Island Circuit on 28th. As part of the official Black Dog Ride group participants will be riding a parade lap of the track on arrival, followed up with the Champion's Dinner that night. These arrangements are exclusive to Black Dog Ride.

We will have an expo stand at the event, which gives us a great opportunity to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention over the weekend. At the last World Superbikes event we gave out over 5000 information sheets.

Come join us for an unforgettable experience as part of the Black Dog Ride family at the World Superbikes. To find out more about this weekend, and register, click on one of the following links.

The Cause

1 in 5 Australians experience a mental health condition each year. 3 million Australians are living with depression or anxiety. 8 Australians take their lives each day. That's more than 3,000 lives lost to suicide each year. The tragic loss of our loved ones to suicide drives Black Dog Ride to build a community culture of awareness, inclusion and acceptance.

Breaking down the barrier of silence encourages our friends, family and colleagues to seek help, because mental illness is just that, an illness. Mental illness can be managed to lead a meaningful, fulfilling life. Fostering awareness is the catalyst for encouraging help seeking behaviour and preventing suicide.

Help Black Dog Ride break down barriers and start conversations, join us on our Superbikes weekend in February 2020 to kick start a national conversation around suicide prevention.
